It’s been more than half a century since Greenwich Village was America’s beatnik capital, but an apartment that hit the market last year revealed a perfect encapsulation of the neighborhood’s lost bohemian spirit. Owner Sonja Alaimo passed away in June of 2023, leaving her Surrealist art, floor-to-ceiling wood paneling, and Isamu Noguchi chair (authenticity unverified) to a lucky buyer.
