I’m a writer in New York City covering visual culture. I’ve written more than 550 stories for the daily art paper Hyperallergic, which reaches 1 million readers a month.

My articles include features, interviews, and on-site breaking news reports. I emphasize visual storytelling and source all of the art and photographs in my work. Before I started as a staff writer at Hyperallergic in 2022, I freelanced for the Bushwick Daily and worked at the small Betty Cuningham Gallery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I grew up in New Hampshire and graduated with a degree in Art History and Russian from Middlebury College in Vermont.
